The owners of Gavin
Scooters are the who's who of the elite in the diving
industry.
Our owners alone, reflect
the integrity of the Gavin Scooter:
Jarrod
Jablonski (President of Global Underwater Explorers --
GUE and CEO of Halcyon
Manufacturing and Extreme Exposure),
Casey McKinlay, WKPP Project
Director
Currently DIR exploration teams are
using fleets of Gavins in Canada, Mexico,
Brazil, Philippines, China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand,
Africa, the Middle East, through out the Mediterranean, Europe
including the UK, Scandinavia, and
Russia.
Reinhard
Buchaly and Michael Waldbrenner of Germany use only
the Gavin on their European team. They hold the European record (in
very cold water, by the way) at over 16,000 feet penetration.
Reinhard and Michael also dive with the WKPP here and maintain a
full warehouse of gear in the US to dive with the WKPP, including
several Gavin scooters each.
The SCRET
exploration team uses Gavin scooters in their
research of deep water shipwrecks in the Pacific Northwest. With a
fleet of eleven scooters they help bring unique footage of
passenger liners, ancient sailing vessels, and WWII era aircraft to
the public through a number of TV and IMAX theatre specials. SCRET
recently made the exciting discovery of a channel of unknown
shipwrecks close to 300' that may become known as the Elliott Bay's
"Wreck Alley."
Jason
Weisacosky uses the Gavin exclusively for his team
in Missouri, Ozark Cave Diving Alliance (OCDA), where he has pushed
all the caves that others gave up on years ago (again in very harsh
and cold conditions).
The
"Swedish Brothers," who drive out onto the
frozen Baltic and cut holes in the ice to dive
wrecks use the Gavin exclusively, as do other Scandinavian
Teams.
Gavin Scooters are intended for serious,
professional, passionate divers. Gavin Scooters, reserves the
right to decline the purchase of any scooter for any
reason.
